If there is anything that the Cuban Missle Crisis has taught me, and hopefully you, it's that diplomacy is a powerful tool. Diplomacy is so strong that it may even be as effective as war, if not more effective. As a bonus, diplomacy saves the lives of the countless people war would inevitably kill. There is no doubt that as the world carries on, we will face countless more conflicts, so all I can hope is that the governments of the nations around the world will meet them with diplomacy and not violence.
